Parent Academy
Twin Cities International Schools partners with parents to support student success. Through our monthly Parent Academy meetings, families gain valuable insight into the academic standards their children are working on in class and learn practical strategies to support learning at home.
At parent Academy, parents receive individualized information about their child’s strengths and areas for growth. We provide access to academic resources and tools designed to help families work together toward a successful and enriching school year.
Parent involvement in schools plays an important role in student success by providing a strong support system that enhances academic achievement and emotional well-being. When parents actively participate, it strengthens the home-school connection, creating a unified approach to education. This engagement also reflects a community that values learning, collaboration, and shared responsibility. A school with active parental support often sees improved morale, better communication, and a more inclusive environment. Ultimately, it helps build a community that prioritizes the growth and future of its children.
At TCIS our goal for Parent Academy is to provide focus on ways to support your children’s educational needs at home by creating a unified learning experience. We hope to look forward to seeing you there.
***Child care is provided during Parent Academy for children 4th grade and under.
